A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO HEALING
Learn About Our Methods
At Ma’at Therapeutic Services, what distinguishes our practice is not who we treat, but HOW we treat.
Our therapists are trained to think outside the box when it comes to our clients’ wellness. Whether it be challenges with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, self-esteem/self-image concerns, or many other difficulties, we acknowledge the connection between the mind, body and spirit. This understanding helps us support our clients through holistic healing utilizing activities and exercises that honor each aspect of our being.
We see therapy as a partnership between therapist and client, and a commitment from both is essential to our approach.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a variety of traditional therapeutic services, as well holistic bodywork for those who would like to deepen their healing practices. Through use of Acupuncture, Massage, Reiki, and Yoga, we encourage you to go within to not only examine what exists, but work to remove it. We understand the importance of breath, as well as movement in being able to fully release what we hold onto in our minds.
HEALING YOUR GARDEN
The Process of Healing
"Throughout my years as a therapist, one of the common themes I have seen consistently in the people I help are challenges with a 'negative internal dialogue.' These negative messages that we hold onto are frequently at the root of anxiety and depression, and oftentimes (in my experience, more frequently than not) stem from things we’ve experienced at a very young age. Going through the Healing Your Garden® process will allow individuals to examine these early messages, and begin healing work surrounding the impact of our childhood experiences on our adult personalities."

*COVID 19 Statement*
The mission of Ma’at Therapeutic Services is to promote the health and wellness of our clients, as well as our practitioners. Keeping that as our focus, we believe it is best to hold remote teletherapy sessions until further notice. If this creates a hardship for you, including not having access to internet services or any other technological issues, please feel free to reach out to your therapist to discuss possible options.
We look forward to being able to move beyond this pandemic and see you once again in our office!
**Acupuncture services are still available in person through John Chen at Wu Tang Dao. Please contact him directly to schedule an appointment (information listed in Acupuncture tab above).
